I grew up in a house full of women. And for a girl being raised as an only child, that was perfectly fine. Fast forward to the home life I have created, I have a son who is all too ready to grow up. Literally, every other conversation starts with “When I grow up, I’m going to….”

It’s such an amazing experience to watch him grow from a baby to a little boy wanting to be a little man. It’s even more rewarding watching his dad expose him to things that only a man should. Like shaving your (pretend) beard!

We partnered with Andis At Home and tried out their at-home clippers. When we received the clippers, my husband was so happy. Apparently, he loves this brand and was speaking good things about the quality and versatility as he unboxed his new toy. The clippers have a good weight, and both hubby and baby boy were happy during the process.

RJ got a hair but and dad shaved his beard while RJ watched with so much excitement. It was really the cutest thing.

I like to think that, if it were up to me, I could give RJ a great hair cut and teach him the fine art of shaving but let’s be real here. lol. Their relationship, daddy and son, is something special and these little things really make a big difference. It’s the memories and the learning experiences and they get to do it all in the comfort of our home.

Doesn’t get much better than that!

Until next time,

Ashly
